Manage your oil and gas pools

Developed by Pacific GeoTech Systems Ltd., Pool Management is an ArcGIS extension that offers full support for the mapping of oil and gas pools as isopach maps. Pool Management, a customized solution for oil and gas exploration, provides a powerful and comprehensive extension for querying and displaying the sub-surface presence of oil and gas resources. The goal of Pool Management is to provide significantly increased access to oil and gas isopach maps throughout an organization and to enhance the effectiveness of core ArcGIS technology as a tool set foundation for oil and gas resources. The application is very easy to install and configure, and includes customized help for pool isopach system users.


Pool Management Features:

  • allow an organization to model and maintain a corporate spatial geodatabase for spatial queries on pools, breaklines, contours and zero-edges

  • support metadata creation and management, geographic oil and gas data exploration analysis as well as isopach maps creation

  • facilitate efficient query of the geodatabase by area, formation and pool identifier based on pool id, code, area, pool types and more

  • editing modules enforce the validity and integrity of the geodatabase for editing pool isopach map information, including spatial editing such as add, modify and delete
