The Recreation WebMap application offers a powerful new tool for exploring Ministry of Forests Recreation Inventory data online. Using two powerful GIS solutions, GeoMedia to link recreation data and GeoMedia Web Map to publish vector-based smartmaps, Forest Service Recreation Section will benefit from the ability to provide Forest Districts with fast, easy to access, accurate and up-to-date spatial recreation inventory data. The Forest Health WebMap site provides the most up-to-date information regarding Health Aerial Survey maps in B.C. This is the only source in B.C. for viewing and publishing vector-based smartmaps, querying GIS data, displaying hazard thematic maps, and/or downloading Forest Health Aerial Survey maps. In addition, Forest Health Web Mapping site publishes historical forest health data from 1909.
